On your device

The microphone is used only while you record. Audio, transcripts, speaker names and summaries are stored in the app’s local storage on your iPhone. Speech recognition and summaries run on the phone, and Referat never sends audio or text to a server.

The first time, Referat downloads a speech model from a file server. That request contains only technical information such as IP address and app version, never audio or text. Deleting the app removes its local data; backups follow your iOS settings.

No account or tracking

Referat has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Support emails

If you contact support, the information you choose to send is used to answer you. Your email is handled by our email providers. Contact us if you want your correspondence deleted.

This website

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and requested pages, to deliver and secure it. This site has no advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms or tracking pixels. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
